Progressivism is the dominance of thought and the way of seeing within the modern world. It is an underlying ideology that adheres to a progressive neoliberal script across all institutions. While Progressivism may appear gentle on the surface, promoting niceness and equality for all, these simplistic aims disguise a violent, destructive mechanism.
Philosophical and Theological Foundations
The core of Progressivism is a gnostic promise of liberation. This liberation seeks to free the individual from what is perceived as a prison.
This prison is constituted by God, gender, history, and limits in general. Within the progressive framework, the creation of one’s own truth is permitted, allowing for the wholesale ignoring of inconvenient truths.
Progressivism is the religion of the machine, functioning as a parasitic anti-religion. This belief system has its own structure, including the sin of wrong think. Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Human Resources (HR) diversity managers fulfil the role of priests, while salvation is attained through carbon credits or improving one’s social credit score.
The word progress itself implies moving toward an undefined utopia, generally characterised as a place free of limits. Simultaneously, progress implies movement away from an origin, described as progressing away from an abundant home (Earth) deeper into the dark void of space, like a spaceship heading away from its planet.
The modern world relies on a belief system centred primarily on Progress (with a capital P), which mandates moral progress, technological progress, and endless forward movement. This theology posits that things will always improve, moving towards some ultimate utopian state.
Progressive Inversion and Anti-Christian Rebellion
Progressivism is associated with a range of destructive ideologies, including Feminism, Postmodernism, Marxism, Nihilism, Materialism, wokeism, Transhumanism, LGBT, the Hippie Movement, the Frankfurt School, the Tavistock Institute, Fabian Socialism, and Planned Parenthood. All these forces share the same satanic rebellion.
This rebellion is a fractal which begins railing against God, and cascades downward, targeting every representation of The Father. The objects of attack include the king, the nation, the church, authority, competency, men, and history. This results in constant attempts to undermine the relationship with God.
This mindset is characterised by profound inversions.
Objective truth, morality, and virtue are constantly assaulted.
Competency is mocked, while disability is revered.
Beauty is offensive, while ugliness is celebrated.
Emotions and subjectivity take precedence over facts and objectivity.
Empathy trumps rationality
Safety is chosen over risk.
Conformity is preferred over competition.
And censoring the truth is acceptable if the truth is threatening or dangerous.
The consequence of all this is a journey always towards more hedonism, greater deserving, fewer children, and diminished responsibility. This is anti-Christian, united not in following Christ but united in rebellion against him.
Cultural and Institutional Capture
Progressivism facilitates the capture and hollowing out of established institutions. The nation’s church, the Church of England, has been infiltrated, and its monarch, holding the title Defender of the Faith, has overseen its demise, often weakening Christianity.
This institutional shift involves the redefinition of sin and heresy to align with 21st-century political standards. Examples include the appointment of a feminist, pro-choice Archbishop of Canterbury and the desecration of historical sites, such as Canterbury Cathedral, with self-vandalising art exhibitions.
Within the culture, this ideology warps the sense of self, morality, and history, shifting the Overton window in an ever more degenerate direction. The media and culture bombard society with sophisticated propaganda, acting in unison not to entertain, but to condition individuals for their replacement, celebrating acceptance as virtuous and heroic. This unified effort polices thought and frames the narrative.
The progressive narrative frames men and women not as partners, but as opponents who victimise each other. Women are conditioned to reject their traditional femininity, including grace, chastity, modesty, nurturing, and obedience, sacrificing their own children for their careers.
Masculine hero archetypes are removed from cultural representation, and leaders are neutered and feminised. Education conditions the young to view their history, culture, and people with apathy or shame, rather than connection, gratitude, belonging, or obligation.
Trajectory Towards Totalitarianism
The progress actually being achieved leads deeper into totalitarianism. The true progressive statement is: We are the future, you are the past, and you are an obstacle to be removed.
This path culminates in a systematic and aggressive crushing of individuality, demanding that the self be dissolved into the collective. In this environment, relations between man and man, man and woman, and parent and child are severed, as is the connection between personal reality and the acceptable reality decreed by the collective.
The resultant demoralisation drives the weak to seek protection from the collective, surrendering their individual power and fueling hatred for the heretic individual. This regime of totalitarian control is the reality of Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four.
The modern way of seeing is highly mechanistic. The relentless forward movement of technology, especially digital technology, is viewed as a process of enclosure. This digital enclosure, following the enclosure of land, is the enclosure of minds and ways of seeing. It forces people to exist within a monitored digital system, where algorithms dictate exposure to information and heighten conflicts, thereby accelerating movement toward the machine way of life. The ultimate goal of Transhumanism, closely allied with progressivism, is the ongoing liberation from matter itself.
