Theosophy, meaning Divine Wisdom, is a system of knowledge described as a divine science, aiming to reconcile all religions, sects, and nations under a common system of ethics based on "eternal truths".
The modern Theosophical Society propagates these doctrines, which have significantly influenced social movements. First-wave feminism, for instance, is inextricably linked with Luciferianism, rooted in anti-Christian spiritual warfare. Many early suffragettes and Feminist activists were adherents of theosophy, esotericism, Kabbalah, and mysticism, with wealthy industrialists and elites often funding these circles.

A core tenet involves rejecting the concept of a personal, extra-cosmic, or anthropomorphic God, viewing such a deity as a logical impossibility. Instead, it promotes a universal Divine Principle and advocates for a Divine Goddess or Mother Earth.
Theosophists, early feminists and their successors explicitly see Christianity as an enemy due to its patriarchal and "oppressive" nature ( girls just wanna have sin), openly embracing Lucifer as a symbol of liberation. This rejection of God the Father is at the heart of feminism.
This ideology, influenced by Gnosticism, views human life and the physical body negatively, contributing to anti-natalist sentiments.
Sexual liberation and promiscuity are pushed forth as a re-enchantment of the world, enabling female power and will to manifest, distinct from the purpose of procreation. Ancient mystical traditions, including Hermeticism and Kabbalah, describe the ultimate deity as non-binary and androgynous.
This concept informs the aspiration to transcend differentiation and binary distinctions, including gender, as a path to a higher state of being. Theosophists and transcendentalists in the 1800s predicted a future where there would be no male and female distinctions.
The broader objective is to foster a world order based on ultimate unity over distinctions and diversity. This encompasses the melding of all religions, the unification of nation-states, and the blurring of gender roles, leading to a collectivist system where individual particularity is overcome.
A new world religion is necessary to facilitate this global integration, overcoming the idea that being particular is good. Aldous Huxley noted that a New World Order would require a new world religion that overcomes the idea of particularity or individuality as good.
The New Age movement and feminism are deeply tied to this concept.
