Steven Spielberg

PEOPLE

PEOPLE

Steven Spielberg stands as a pre-eminent figure in modern cinema, but beneath the surface of his popular and often sentimental films lies a profound and consistent political agenda.

He is arguably the foremost propagandist for what has been termed the "Boomer truth Regime," encoding the de facto assumptions of the liberal order into his work. Far from being apolitical or neutral, every single thing Spielberg does is considered political. His films function almost as a mass exercise in telling people how they should think and feel.

The central thesis is that Spielberg's films are undoubtedly political, aiming to inculcate the politics of the regime, specifically the politics of liberal democracy and the "boomer truth".

At the very core of his morality and this "boomer truth" is the enduring theme of being on the side of the alien, the outsider, and the marginalised group.

He encourages viewers to see heroism as helping these "alien forces". This message is sometimes esoterically coded, while at other times, it is explicit and in your face. His message nearly everywhere and always is against the dominant main majority population, pushing a progressive narrative that aligns with outsider, minority, and marginalised groups in ways that are fundamentally Leftist (and Jewish).

Intuition and feeling precede reasoning

This concept is fundamental to how people process information and form opinions, particularly in response to media like films.

Spielberg is a master of this technique. Rather than being aggressive, in-your-face, or attempting to intellectually force a viewpoint, he is a lot more seductive and manipulative. He plays on your emotions, getting audiences to respond in a non-intellectual way. His approach involves offering a seduction into a kind of world view - a very effective approach it is too, due to the way he is able to bring people on side and get in to the subconscious mind.

This emotional connection creates a strong bond with the films. People may find themselves leaping to defend Spielberg's movies, even if they politically disagree with his underlying messaging. This defence often stems from the warm glow of nostalgia the films provide, or because they evoke memories or simply made them feel good at a particular time.

Those viewers who may reflexively object to the notion of Spielberg Propaganda - like his films (and Post WW2 Consensus liberal mindset) - are working backwards from the feeling to the reasoning. They have a positive emotional response to the film first, and only afterwards do they construct reasons or justifications to support that feeling or defend the film against critique. This is described as how they get you.

Spielberg's has potentially inculcated more people into a liberal worldview than almost any other individual is attributed significantly to his ability to tap into this fundamental psychological mechanism, getting in underneath the mind through emotional connection before any intellectual reasoning takes place.

It is then no surprise to see that every single Democrat president – including Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, and Obama – has been photographed giving a medal - not only for his continued donations to the Democratic Party, but to his contributions to post WW2 liberalism.
